Parent Portal Acceptable Use Policy

 

Miller School District’s Parent Portal is a means of enhancing educational excellence and improving communications with parents.  The Portal allows parents to view their own children’s school records anywhere any time.  In response for the privilege of accessing the district’s portal, every parent is expected to act in a responsible, ethical and legal manner.  The Portal is available to every parent or guardian of a student enrolled in the Miller School District.

 

Before using the Portal, you need to agree to:

  1. Not share the password with others.

  2. Not attempt to harm or destroy data of their own children, of another user, or the district’s network.

  3. Not use the Portal for any illegal activity, including violation of Data Privacy Laws.  Anyone violating laws will be subjected to Civil and/or Criminal Prosecution.

  4. Will not access data or any account of another family’s children.

  5.  Contact the school if they identify a problem with the Portal.

  6. Forfeit access to the Portal if they are identified as a security or harassment risk.

Parents access to their children’s records maybe on a continuous basis as long as their children are enrolled in the Miller district.

 

 

Please review these user guidelines before signing the “Parent Portal User Agreement” below. 

 

Only signing and returning the agreement to the school will you receive access to the Parent Portal for your children.
