We would like to inform you of several upcoming changes related to the elementary addition project. As construction progresses, adjustments are necessary to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors.
Beginning on Tuesday, the elementary main entrance will be closed for the remainder of the school year. During this time, the only available entrances to the school during the school day will be the Armory entrance and the high school entrance. All visitors should plan to use one of these two access points. The Armory entrance will be closed April 8th through the 11th due to prom.
Students will enter and exit for recess through the elementary gymnasium doors. These same doors will also be used at the at the beginning and end of the school day for both bus loading and parent drop off and pick-up.
Bus traffic will utilize the west side of East 7th Avenue along the entire stretch. To help maintain a safe and efficient flow of traffic, we ask that no vehicles park on the west side of the road.
We will continue to communicate any additional changes as they arise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work through this construction process and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
